Sibusiso Gcaba is a Johannesburg-based photographer born in 1989. He enjoys creating images that are layered and can be interpreted in many ways. His intention to document the visual experience of the contemporary metropolitan in history is intuitive, which allows his subconsciousness to contribute to the photographs. Sibusiso has exhibited in group exhibitions locally and internationally and was a finalist at the LagosPhoto x National Geographic Portfolio Review Award in 2018. He has notably showcased work at Agog Gallery for the Street Culture group exhibition,  The Yaounde Photo Festival in Cameroon, Summer Salon Exhibition at Bag Factory, Johannesburg, a solo online show with Latitudes.online.
